The word “diet” has now become associate with going on a restrictive diet for weight loss or medical reasons. This isn’t the case as the word means the kinds of food that a person, animal or community habitually eats. As soon as someone mentions they are going on a diet, my heart sinks. Often, they speak about cutting out foods, swapping full fat for low fat, or meal replacement drinks. For me we should stop going on “diets” and look at “healthy eating” as this is more sustai
